I study the formation and evolution of galaxies in the early universe, with particular focus on low mass, low metallicity galaxies and the early stages of galaxy evolution. We conduct observations of the kinematics, chemical evolution and stellar populations of galaxies at high redshift, and of interactions between galaxies and the intergalactic medium.

I'm also one of the advisors of the Astronomy Club at UWM. If you're a student and interested in astronomy please contact me for more information, or see what we're up to on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
