UWM is located east of the Milwaukee River, just north of Locust Street, on Milwaukee's upper-east side.

To reach UWM, travel to Milwaukee on I-94, I-43, or Hwy 41/45, as appropriate. Take I-43 toward Green Bay. Exit onto Locust Street. Turn right and continue east for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Oakland after you cross the Milwaukee River. After 3-4 blocks, turn right onto Kenwood Blvd.

Locale and Parking

Note: On-campus parking is often scarce when classes are in session.

Some curb parking in the neighborhood surrounding UWM is available, with restrictions.

When classes are in session, UWM services satellite UPARK lots (marked above) with regularly-scheduled charter buses. Information is available from these sources:
