Prof. David Kaplan and CGCA Postdoc Steve Croft recently returned from a trip to Western Australia, where they had a chance to visit the Murchison Widefield Array.

After flying to Perth, they flew up the coast to Geraldton. They then joined MWA staff Brian Crosse for the 4 hour drive to the site.

At the site they assisted in repairing lightning damage to the array:
caught up with local wildlife:
and enjoyed the view:
