Other Transportation

Shuttles provide door-to-door airport service to hotels and are operated by GO Airport Connection. This is the recommended mode of transit to and from the airport.

Transportation and directions to hotel from O'Hare International Airport

O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is approximately 80 miles from downtown Milwaukee. O'Hare is a major hub for several airlines, and may be a less expensive destination than Mitchell for some travelers.

CoachUSA operates buses arriving and departing downtown Milwaukee approximately every hour (schedule).

Fare: $30 one-way, $55 round trip.
Pickup: Terminal 5 (International Terminal) and O'Hare Bus Shuttle Center.
Stops: Milwaukee, 4th St (west side), very close to the Milwaukee Intermodal Amtrak Station

Walk one block west on St. Paul Avenue to the Milwaukee Intermodal Amtrak Station (map) and hail a taxi to the hotel (less than a 5 minutes ride, 15-20 minutes walking; see map.)

A selection of Limousine Services also operate from O'Hare. This option may be cost-effective for groups of travelers. Rates vary, one service quoted $160 for up to 6 people and $180 for up to 10 passengers (not including taxes or gratuity).
